We are a fast growing life science SaaS company. Our mission is to scale and grow a biotech company the way a tech company does. Our co-founders bring a rich blend of Biotech expertise, Product lifecycle and growth expertise and of course Silicon Valley Tech expertise. We are super passionate about what we do and what we’re trying to build at this company. Scispot’s vision is to create a world where anyone from anywhere can start and scale a bio company in a digitally connected and collaborative network (“Labverse”). We are using ML to help build, design, and plan experiments using wet lab and computational templates offered by Scispot. We help biotech labs create their own knowledge graph as they execute experiments and automate inventory using Scispot. We do this, in part, by understanding the experiment metadata of our customers and using our recommendation engine to predict what workflow templates will be used by our current and future users to plan and execute their R&D on Scispot.

During radiation emergencies, doctors and emergency responders need a fast way to understand how much radiation a person has been exposed to. This information helps them decide who needs immediate medical care and who can safely wait. Right now, the most accurate testing methods take more than a full day and require specialized laboratory equipment. This delay makes it difficult to respond quickly during emergencies, when time is critical. This project is working to solve that problem by creating a small, portable device that can quickly estimate radiation exposure using a tiny blood sample from a finger prick. The device automatically prepares and analyzes the blood sample and measures changes in blood cells that occur after radiation exposure. Based on the results, the device provides a simple color-based result that shows whether a person has low, moderate, or high exposure. The goal is to reduce testing time from more than 24 hours to about one hour and allow testing to be done directly in emergency settings rather than only in hospitals or laboratories. This faster approach can help emergency teams make better decisions, reduce strain on hospitals, and improve patient outcomes during radiation emergencies.

Swish is developing self-cleaning solar panel technology designed to actively keep solar panels clean in snowy and sandy regions. Accumulation of debris, such as sand in arid areas and snow in colder climates, drastically reduces solar panel efficiency, leading to significant revenue losses. For example, $5 billion was lost in 2021 due to these issues. Existing cleaning methods, such as fresh water washing and costly robotic systems, are not only inefficient but also unsustainable. Swish’s innovative solution aims to address this problem by providing a more effective, sustainable, and cost-efficient way to maintain solar panel performance, ensuring maximum energy production and minimizing operational costs.
