Hot flashes affect up to 85% of menopausal women, typically persisting for 7-11 years (Journal of Mid-life Health; The Menopause Society). Hot flashes severely disrupt sleep, daily comfort, and careers, ultimately contributing to 1 in 10 Canadian women leaving the workforce (Menopause Foundation of Canada). We aim to design an automated cooling tank top that provides accessible, efficient, and discreet thermal regulation, empowering women to reclaim their personal and professional lives and overall well-being.
