Tandem Robotics builds collaborative robots for fruit and vegetable farms. Farms often struggle to find enough workers, while many critical jobs such as weeding, planting, harvesting, and moving produce are still done by hand. These tasks are repetitive, physically demanding, and often need to be completed within short time windows. Our robots work alongside farm workers to carry people, tools, and produce, while helping automate repetitive tasks. This allows farms to work 2-4 times faster with the same team and reduces the physical strain of farm work. Our long-term goal is to make more farm tasks autonomous, helping farms grow without needing to increase their workforce at the same rate.
