Tenomix is a medical device startup on a mission to develop novel technologies that target inefficiencies in the pathology workflow, optimize cancer care for patients, and reduce healthcare costs. We are building a platform technology for the lymph node search process in surgically removed cancer tissues, which is currently done by hand. Our solution, an automated bench-top device that leverages robotics, ultrasound imaging, and AI/ML, will make the search for lymph nodes less labour intensive, less costly, and more reliable for pathology labs, resulting in better informed treatment decisions for cancer patients.
