Qidni Labs is changing that with its portable, nearly waterless hemodialysis system, engineered to bring lifesaving treatment beyond the walls of a traditional care setting.
Through Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), the Government of Canada is contributing up to $12.5 million CAD toward Qidni's $25 million project to finalize the system's design, establish pilot-scale manufacturing in Ontario, run clinical studies and collect real-world data, including from battlefield settings, accelerating the path from prototype to deployment.
