Palitronica closes Series A to scale physics-based cybersecurity for critical infrastructure

The cyberthreat landscape is shifting from traditional IT targets to the embedded electronics inside communications, transportation, and defence systems, exposing gaps that conventional testing can't catch.

Palitronica combines deep physics with AI to assure the resilience of electronics in safety-critical manufacturing and defence infrastructure, and was recently selected by Bell Textron to provide cyber assurance for critical electronics on the MV-75 Cheyenne, the U.S. Army's next-generation assault aircraft.

The Series A was led by the BDC Industrial Innovation Venture, with participation from Three Kings Capital, Frostbite Capital, and Unpopular Funds.

Palitronica's roots trace back to the University of Waterloo, where co-founder Sebastian Fischmeister, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, advanced the company's early patents and prototypes after joining Velocity in 2019.
