Who: All University of Waterloo students. No experience necessary! What: An exciting innovation challenge where you’ll work with a team to solve real-world problems. Along the way, you will meet new friends and gain valuable mentorship connections, grow your skills, and compete for prizes. When: September 15-26th 2025 Why: Your ideas could contribute to the creation of solutions that support aging populations and build more inclusive, resilient communities. How: Sign up below! Each participant needs to register on their own. Teams are formed at the Kick-off Event.

Pitch your new ideas: The top 16 teams will present their solutions to judges at a science fair-style event. The top eight teams will advance to the finals!
Food and refreshments: Enjoy a light dinner and take a moment to celebrate your progress alongside fellow teams.
Final Pitch & Awards

⏰ 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.
Final Pitch: The top eight teams will compete in front of a live audience and expert judges for a chance to win one of three $2,500 prizes - plus the opportunity to be considered for additional post-event support through CABHI’s NextGen initiative.
Refreshments: Join us for light refreshments and a chance to celebrate your team's success in reaching the top eight of this exciting challenge.
