We’re kicking off Waterloo Tech Week with the Velocity Pitch Competition. We’re shaking things up this year – 2 minutes, no slides – just you and an audience full of supporters who want to help you thrive and a chance at a $5,000 top prize.

How it works

You get two minutes. No slides, just you and your idea.

You'll pitch directly to judges from the Waterloo entrepreneurship ecosystem, people who are ready to give you real feedback, real advice, and real connections.

In the afternoon, the top eight teams move on to the finals to pitch for a $5,000 top prize.

All participating student teams are invited to networking opportunities throughout the day to meet other founders and ecosystem members shaping the Waterloo startup scene – Free food too!
