The Co-op Workplace Simulation

Want to make a stronger impact on your next co-op term? Join Velocity’s Co-op Workplace Simulation, open to students from all faculties and programs. You will practice spotting real business problems that employers truly care about.

In this interactive simulation, you will act as a co-op student at a healthcare company, work with peers to uncover the organization’s key challenges, and learn how to communicate your proposed solution clearly and confidently. The company is fictional, but the problems are realistic and reflect current issues faced by similar organizations.

By the end of the session, you will have a practical approach for engaging co-workers, asking better questions, and recognizing the “symptoms” of company challenges in any industry. You can immediately apply these skills in your current or future co-op roles.
