Velocity - Innovation Arena

Primary care across the country is evolving, with each province or territory taking tailored approaches to ensure their initiatives align with their community needs. Building the right technology – and deploying and evaluating it effectively – is crucial. Technology needs to adapt to the evolution of primary care, but how?

Leaders from Amplify Care (formerly eHealth Centre of Excellence) and four Ontario Health Teams (OHTs) – Guelph Wellington, Cambridge North Dumfries, Grey Bruce, and Huron Perth & Area – are coming together to share insights on emerging and established trends in healthcare.

Drawing on nationwide experience, Amplify Care will offer a forward-looking view of digital health while the OHTs will discuss current regional challenges and explore practical solutions.

The panel will also feature reflections from Velocity startup founders who have successfully implemented and scaled innovative solutions in Canada. Their experiences and lessons learned in building technology to meet the needs of today’s healthcare environment will provide immense value in bringing new and innovative solutions to primary and integrated care.

The event will also include a reception, networking opportunities and a tour of the Innovation Arena.
